Motherland 01:23
I live by the river, watching the flying birds. They’re singing their love songs, standing on me. Like a statue I never speak. The wind in my branches is cleaning my body and soul. My feet in the ground are keeping the water flowing in my roots.

Wait 04:15
Tell me what did you see when you found me lost in the deeps, when you said things so carefully. Hold it a second take no decision. Help me find me and rest yourself here. Don’t it make your heart beating loud? ‘Cause your touch… wait. Show me all that you read from the stories taking you here. In this heartbreaking fairytale, there’s no tomorrow, only good mornings. Wait and I believe you’ll never say “ I would fight away the morning “ every time you wake up and I wait.
3.
You live on a separate land. It gives you a second chance to find over the rain and clouds in your brain, lost in the sand, a miracle man. Young brother, I give you a hand, a dream and a better plan to swim across the ocean, the dust and the wind, the rust and the sins, the trust in your friends and all the mornings I’ve let you down. You said God has just never been here, that he works for the mothers in tears. He’d let you fall in between the rocks and the leaves, the skies and the trees, the grass and the seeds. Your eyes they never come clear on money, religion and fear. Tonight let’s just forget the words that we said, the chairs where we sat, the good and the bad and all the mornings I’ve let you down. You come with the highest tide, raised from the ground it covers us all and disappear.

Let me be 05:56
Let me believe. Let me cut my hair. Let me be the man that I deserve. Let me pretend. Let me wear my shoes. Let me make some mistakes on the way. Would you let me tell my stories of courage with no fear? Let me be a choir to extend my voice, a tower to be tall for once, an endless river sailing me away. My love, we are, so lost now. This fear is growing inside of me. Let me depart. Let me leave this shore, I’ll come back with the answers that I seek. Let me accept. Let me do my best and maybe throw the weight that’s on my chest. Would you let me tell my stories of courage with no fear? Let me be a choir to extend my voice, a tower to be tall for once, an endless river sailing me away. My love, we are, so lost now. This fear is growing inside of my body. Wait, my love, we are, so lost now. This fear is growing inside of me. No, there’s no coming back. No there’s no starting new. But we can, yeah we can be who we have always dreamed to be in the end.

6.
No Moccasins 04:27
Birds are whistling songs from the trees to my ears. Pines are growing tall making me feel like small and I wish I could make them talk to me. Winds on my skin sailing dreams in my heart. Waves bringing rocks on the shore like a boat and I still don’t know what to do with me. What do you want me to do? What do you want me to say?
7.
There’s fire in their atmosphere but calmness in the heart of Rose. Waiting for the time to come, the universe to form. Tell me who I have to pray to live a life like Rose. It’s cloudy in the Holland sky but nothing hides the joys of Rose. Details in the summer frame becoming simple thoughts. Show me where I need to stay to live a life like Rose.
8.
I’m sorry, please keep your money, it’s a handshake that I need so you could look upon my chin in the mirror that you fear. Have you ever felt the heat of a Coke vending machine? Have you ever seen the morning when it wakes up on your skin? Sneak into your lungs and find your way home. Let your heart be the forest guide, it will lead you through the night. Let your heart be the forest guide my friend, it will lead you through the darkness of my soul. I swear to you. I’m worried. There’s no comfort in the sorrys that you speak. There’s no fire, there’s no hope, no addition to the scene. Have you ever lost a dream for a lifetime disappeared? Have you ever felt like nothing, like a monster that you fear? Sneak into your lungs and find your way home. Let your heart be the forest guide, it will lead you through the night. Let your heart be the forest guide my friend, it will lead you through the darkness of my soul. I give you all my love, my trust, my faith, my shoes, my pain, my fears.

I woke you up in silence somewhere in the rain. Rocking in the balance, washed away the pain. Lost among the mornings I’ve been chasing after me. The truth is that it lingers in the sea. Carried by the autumn winding in the trees, I brought you by the oldest, healing your disease. Walked into the forest wondered how long would it take. I’m the type of fellow that just needs to stare at. Cantilena Star. Built your house from fallen branches. What a place to start going simple. Letting go of things you have in mind, singing. Sitting by the fire, dreams upon your head. Slept into your own roots did like what you said. Took a splash of water, let your sins roll off the rocks. Walk aside your sorrow, let your heart decide now.

My friend, my friend, other side of me. I can’t, I can’t be the one you need. Neither you for what I seek. When you look at me, there’s just nothing that you see. But you hear me, I will reclaim my place on a morning out of taste. I’m not dead, I’m just floating. Still in my head, dreaming about being free. I’m not dead, I’m just floating over this. I’m not fighting but I’m standing in the way. Oh my old friend, you become a man. But me instead, I grow young again and I can’t remember well what we’ve done to end, all the courage that we had but you know me I will reclaim my place on a morning out of taste. I’m not dead, I’m just floating. Still in my head dreaming about being free. I’m not dead, I’m just floating over this. I’m not fighting but I’m standing in the way. I’m so sorry, if the moment never comes. I wanna lay in the river, let my body float. I wanna stay in the forest, let my voice be heard. My friend you’re caught in the city, you gave your freedom to serve this machine. To put your heart in its place you have to be brave.

More 04:40
“Come’ she says. “Your father has let you down, leaving us somewhere behind”. “Why?” he says. “Father has never gone, tell me what happened to him”. “Dead” she says. “In between earthquakes and satellite dreams”. “Look at me, don’t you see how much he wanted to know more“? “Hold your breath, give me your heart” she says“. “Love will not save you alone“. “Chasing a treasure, you’ll lose what you gathered and never be able to live”. “Take your time to clear your mind and someway your courage will find”. “All you need to disappear and make you forget that you want more”. “Will you make this right from where you are“? “Will you make this right by now“?

They are in the streets. There are two little boys down in the streets. They are playing on a garbage bin of steel. One will always have that something that he needs and the other could be me. And it’s a dream. They are speaking loud of freedom in the street. They were two now they are thousands in the streets. There are children, there are grandmas, there is me. They are growing peace in me. And on the screen, they are spitting words that sound like fireworks while we’re singing songs of wisdom in the streets. We are stupid, we are brilliant and we are young. We are gold and we are old.
13.
Stay there where you sleep, it’s all that you need. I wait on the timing to wake you a day that is good. Now for sure we can’t, tomorrow we might be able to give you a dream in the palm of your hand. You’ll grow in the valley just like the trees and just like the trees, they won’t let you breath. ‘Cause here in the city, the morning is cold, the morning is cold like the heart of men. Long before your time, you’ve learned how to lie. It flows in your skin like a river that’s blown by the wind. Now grown into a man, the best that you can. It won’t be enough for the world to be loving you blind. Then we’ll make our peace from hopes and beliefs that all that we share stays in your heart, upon your flesh that your dad has done all that he could. We’ll look at the stars and lay in the snow to find out how we could leave something behind that shines and won’t melt this time.
14.
Did I tell you the world was like a book that you read? If you’re skipping the pages you miss what it means. Did I tell you that freedom was not something you ask? It is something you choose for your moments to last. Did I tell you that I love you? Did I tell you the Devil may knock at your door? That it’s you who decides if it reaches your soul. Did I tell you that music has made me a man? That a song for your mother gave me her hand? Did I tell you that I love you? Son, we’re too young to solve what is wrong.

Stand up 05:15
Who said that my country could be sold? That we could have lost all that it shares? Who said that the old man was insane? That he just won’t ever be the same? I’ve heard what they told you but we’re now behind you. If God makes you strong tonight, we’ll stand up for your freedom. Stand up. Who said that religion had a clue? That you’d be a guide before you knew? Who said that the color of your skin would tell me the content of your soul? I know what you showed them, the blood from your right hand that gave us the chance to rise and stand up for your freedom. Stand up. Set free your heart and your conscience of stone, just fly and take me higher.
